SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate) is a surfactant (surface-active agent) known for its excellent foaming and cleaning properties. It is used in both sanitary and industrial applications. SLES is especially preferred in products such as soaps, shampoos, liquid detergents, toothpaste, and liquid body gels.
Manufacturers typically purchase SLES in a highly viscous 70% concentra tion. This product needs to be diluted to around 27%, which often requires advanced systems due to the significant change in viscosity.
